Staff and the Board of the Black Women in Sport Foundation (BWSF) want to celebrate the 80th birthday of co-founder, Professor Tina Sloan Green by raising $8,000!
BWSF programs touch the lives of girls and boys in often under-served communities in the Philadelphia-area and beyond. Simply put...we connect kids to sport-participation opportunities, and students and professionals to leadership opportunities. Amazing, right?
BWSF has a plan. Our scholarships, internships, health and wellness resources, and youth-sport and professional leadership programs all support a common cause: increasing the involvement of black women and girls in all aspects of sport. We will continue our mission by connecting to community through virtual programming!
Here's how you can help:
We want to unite a mission-driven community for a good cause and celebrate BWSF co-founder Tina Sloan Green's 80th birthday by raising $8,000!
Big or small, every gift counts! Your donation can:
...support a young professional looking to pursue a career in sports through a BWSF internship;
....support virtual fitness and wellness programming and resources targeted directly towards under-served and urban communities;
...help a college student with passion for sports and leadership access much-needed financial resources;
...purchase sports equipment for a child and introduce them to opportunities that they may not otherwise have had access to!
Donate today, and provide resources to community.
Spread the word and show your support!
