Our family has been passionately pursuing a powerful vision inspired by God that aspires to unite a global church community, transcending the boundaries of language and culture. With your incredible generosity of supporters over the past 8 months, we have raised $41,000, which has covered our $5,125 monthly operating cost. It's important to note that the $5,125 a month covers the essential expenses, excluding any pastor's salary. Throughout this time, Steven has worked full-time on the church plant, receiving no form of payment for his work.
Over the past 8 months, having our operating cost covered has allowed us to extend the love of Jesus to over 5,000 individuals worldwide through our website, social media posts, blogs, bible studies, and information events. Our ministry now spans across 6 continents and 3 languages, ensuring our message resonates with diverse cultures. It's truly been an honor and a dream come true to witness lives transformed by the incredible love of Jesus.
We've had the privilege of making a real impact, whether it's assisting single mothers with their electric bills, helping families transition from one coast to another, providing guidance and discipleship to new believers on their journey of faith, or offering support and restoring the faith of our LGBTQ+ community. It's even touched the lives of those who had lost faith in the church or had lost hope in general, and they've cheered us on because of the love they've received from us planting seeds of restoration.
Our goal is to continue working towards our kick-off worship services and community life on February 4th, 2024. However, we're facing a challenge – our monthly commitments are just $1,500, which falls short of the $5,125 we need each month. If we cannot raise the necessary support, we cannot continue.
To get the needed financial support, we are kicking off a seven-day giving campaign from Monday, September 25 to Sunday, September 30, asking for at least 35 individuals to give $100 a month for one year to help cover our current operating cost.
