Goal
The Big Fish Foundation empowers Veterans to thrive and be of continued service to themselves, their families, & their community.
The 30-hour Challenge event gives participants a chance to push past their perceived limits and explore possibility. The only way out is through, and in difficult times it’s often through collective strength that we can push past what seems impossible.
Fundraising Goal
A common theme we hear from Veterans that come to our retreats/events is that they wish more Veterans could experience it. They understand how Big Fish makes a difference.
What does it cost, on average, for 1 Veteran to attend a life-altering event? $1,500.
To make this happen, we need to raise $500,000 through the 5th Annual Veteran Challenge & Fundraiser.
What will your investment contribute to, long term?
It will allow us to both increase the number of events we can offer and increase the numbers of Veterans we can serve. We also intend to purchase a property where we can bring our events to life with more resources - this will help us lower the average cost to serve Veterans. Finally, we want to offer more opportunities to have Veterans and their loved ones connect at events with one another, much like the retreat we held at JL Bar Ranch.
