Freddie 5k. For Mental Health and the LiFe foundation

                                   2nd Annual Freddie 5k.

Plans are underway for the 2nd annual SC del Sol Freddie 5k at Scottsdale Sports Complex on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. The event celebrates the life of Freddie Torres, a former SC del Sol player who tragically lost his life on November 15th, 2021. 

Please help support the missions of SC del Sol and the LiFe Foundation, a non-profit organization set up with SC del Sol to improve mental and emotional health needs and awareness both within and outside the

club. 

The 5k run commences at 5:30 p.m. All SC del Sol players will participate, however, we warmly welcome all participants to the event both inside and outside the club. The event will be followed by some fun events, music, refreshments, and a silent auction with some amazing items.

Everything counts toward our goals of raising funds for players who have financial burdens and also the LiFe Foundation's needs. We cannot do it alone and thankfully, due to your generosity, we do not have to. The SC del Sol community is an amazing group of people working to improve the lives of our children through soccer.

As many of us know, Freddie was not just a brilliant player but a beautiful young man who epitomized everything one could hope for in a player, teammate, brother, son, and friend. His wonderful values, energy,

honesty and humility will never be forgotten.
