ECCB’s SUMMER 2025 CAMPAIGN

Make East Coast Contemporary Ballet’s Summer Season possible with a contribution TODAY!

Our goal is to make 30K in 30 Days to fund the company’s summer season, whose primary focus is community engagement and greater art exposure through free programming.

Your dollars will make the following possible:

  • Employment of 10 dancers at a 10-day residency to prepare for their season

  • 7 FREE outdoor performances throughout the month of July in CT

  • 2 guest company appearances at the Newport Dance Festival

  • Community engagement and outreach throughout Fairfield County

Your support is what allows ECCB to continue producing innovative works, employing exceptional artists, inspiring audiences, reaching underserved communities, increasing art exposure and pursuing collaborations with other local arts organizations.

Please also join us on July 8 at 6 pm at SoNo 1420, Norwalk for our ECCB SUMMER SOIRÉE to celebrate the final day of this fundraising campaign and the official kick-off our the Summer Season with lobster rolls, summer cocktails, a preview performance, an open Salsa class and an opportunity to mingle with the ECCB dancers. PURCHASE TICKETS HERE.

We thank you for your positive impact.

About ECCB

Founded in 2019 by Claire Mazza and Alejandro Ulloa, East Coast Contemporary Ballet (ECCB) is a Connecticut-based dance company that performs seasonally in Connecticut and New York and is currently celebrating their fifth season. Producing entirely original works, the company is committed to reaching diverse audiences and producing art that audiences can relate to and be inspired by. In 2021 ECCB premiered their first original full-length contemporary ballet set entirely to the music of Ernesto Lecuona and in the summer of the same year founded the Fairfield County Dance Festival in partnership with Thomas Ortiz Dance, offering free summer dance performances throughout Fairfield County. They have also been invited to perform in the Newport Dance Festival, Stamford Block Party, and Stamford Dances Downtown. Collaboration is another core value of the company, and ECCB has had the pleasure to collaborate with music artists such as Nathan Hasselby and Latin Grammy-award winner Pedro Giraudo, with fellow dance companies, and with organizations such as the Norwalk Symphony Orchestra, Museum of Contemporary Art - Westport, Norwalk Art Space, Darien Arts Center, Ballet, and the Fairfield Museum and History Center.
