ALONE AND AFRAID
Taiba is from Daraa, Syria—the birthplace of the Syrian uprising. Forced to flee the war, she sought refuge in Lebanon, where she started a new life and had three children. She was finally happy. Five years ago, her husband passed away, leaving her to raise her children alone. Despite the hardships, Taiba made a promise to give them a better life. Yet once again, war shattered her world.
With the bombs drawing closer to her area in Beirut, Taiba escaped to Khalde, 12 km south of Beirut. She now shares a two-room apartment with relatives and another family. She shares one of the rooms with a family that run away from the South.
Taiba lost her job during the conflict, and without income, she has no way to feed her children. Now, their survival depends entirely on support. Any amount you can give will help Taiba feed her children.

SOLA Y ASUSTADA
Taiba es de Daraa, Siria, la cuna del levantamiento sirio. Obligada a huir de la guerra, buscó refugio en el Líbano, donde comenzó una nueva vida y tuvo tres hijos. Finalmente era feliz. Hace cinco años, su marido falleció y tuvo que empezar a criar a sus hijos sola. A pesar de las dificultades, Taiba prometió darles una vida mejor.
