"We cannot return to our country, our home is at war. The conflict in the northern side of Aleppo is not stopping. Our life has become difficult but we have no-where else to go. We share our apartment with my sister's family because rent is very expensive. We have no electricity. This in not the life I wished for for my children.
My son Issa has asthma. My daughter has health problems, a lack of bone growth since the age of 4 years and problems with the digestive system. My daughter is sick, and I cannot help her because her treatment is expensive and I do not have the money. Sometimes we go days without eating because we have nothing... The situation has caused me a depression, my body can no longer bear the stress. I have a herniated disk on the neck, pinched vertebrae and inflammation of my nerves and arteries, which causes me great fatigue.
I just need a bit of help."

"No podemos regresar a nuestro país, nuestro hogar está en guerra. El conflicto en el norte de Aleppo no se detiene. Nuestra vida se ha vuelto difícil, pero no tenemos adónde ir. Compartimos nuestro apartamento con la familia de mi hermana porque el alquiler es muy caro. No tenemos electricidad. Esta no es la vida que quería para mis hijos.
Mi hijo Issa tiene asma. Mi hija tiene problemas de salud, falta de crecimiento óseo desde los 4 años y problemas con el sistema digestivo. Mi hija está enferma y no puedo ayudarla porque su tratamiento es caro y no tengo el dinero para poder pagarlo. A veces pasamos días sin comer porque no tenemos nada... La situación me ha causado depresión, mi cuerpo ya no aguanta más el estrés. Tengo una hernia de disco en el cuello, pinzamiento de vértebras e inflamación de los nervios y arterias, lo que me produce un gran cansancio.
Sólo necesito un poco de ayuda."
