HELP KHALIL!

We are three families living together in a small house with two rooms and a living room. I have three children, and my father lives with me, along with his five children. My cousin Tann and his two daughters also share the same house. The responsibility for rent, electricity, and expenses falls on my father and me. Despite our continuous work, we struggle to keep up. Recently, our landlord increased the rent to $300. My father earns $150, and I earn $200. After paying rent, we are left with only $50 for food and electricity.

Originally we are from Aleppo, Syria. I work in a workshop, and my father works for a painter. Returning to Syria is not an option due to the compulsory military service. Although we dream of leaving Lebanon, we are aware of the risks involved in the journey. The situation is challenging, and I feel suffocated. Your support would mean a lot to us. Thank you for taking the time to read our letter.

¡AYUDA A KHALIL!
