Seven Lives, One Room
"We are a family of 7 people who fled to Lebanon in 2018 from the countryside of Aleppo. We have 2 boys and 3 girls. Mahmoud is 16 years old. He is uneducated because he was not accepted into schools in Lebanon when we came. He wants to become a chef. Zeinab and him beg for money at a traffic lights. They sell tissues. We also collect nylon and iron and resel it. I don't like sending my kids to the street because there is a los of violence and they have been attacked and harassment several times. Zeinab is 10 years old. She wants to become a surgeon.
My daughter Hala is 14 years old and wants to become a biomedical doctor. My other children and still small so they don't know what they want to be when they grow up. My youngest is 4 years old.
My husband has a herniated disc and a vertebral disc. He can’t work. I am sick too. I have a disc and inflammation in my right foot. We live in one room house with a kitchen. We are deprived of the simplest things. We cannot secure food or drinkable water. Everything is expensive. We can't afford meat, cheese and many other things that I wish my children could have like fruits. Please help to continue."

Siete vidas, una habitación
"Somos una familia de 7 personas. Huimos al Líbano en 2018 desde Alepo. Tenemos 2 niños y 3 niñas. Mahmoud tiene 16 años. No ha recibido educación porque no fue aceptado en las escuelas del Líbano cuando llegamos. Quiere convertirse en chef. Zeinab y él piden dinero en un semáforo. Venden pañuelos de papel. También recogemos nailon y hierro y lo revendemos. No me gusta enviar a mis hijos a la calle porque hay mucha violencia y han sido atacados y acosados varias veces. Zeinab tiene 10 años. Quiere convertirse en cirujana.
Mi hija Hala tiene 14 años y quiere estudiar biomedicina. Mis otros hijos aún son pequeños, así que no saben qué quieren ser de mayores. Mi hijo menor tiene 4 años.
Mi marido tiene una hernia discal y un disco vertebral. No puede trabajar. Yo también estoy enferma. Tengo un disco e inflamación en el pie derecho. Vivimos en una casa de una sola habitación con una cocina. Nos faltan las cosas más sencillas. No podemos conseguir comida ni agua potable. Todo es caro. No podemos permitirnos carne, queso y muchas otras cosas que me gustaría que mis hijos pudieran tener, como frutas. Por favor, ayúdanos a seguir adelante."
