My name is Halima. I am married and have seven children. We live in Beirut. My 15-year-old daughter is battling Hodgkin lymphoma, a cancer affecting her lymph nodes. Due to the high cost of treatment in Lebanon, I had to take her to Syria, where we stayed with friends because we had no home there.
Despite reaching out to numerous associations, we couldn't find the help we needed. We have now returned to Lebanon after her treatments, but she requires regular check-ups at the hospital. Unfortunately, I cannot afford these tests, including a crucial CT scan.
