A CHANCE TO CHANGE MY FUTURE
My name is Fatimah Al Hasan. I’m 18 years old and have been living in Lebanon since 2011. I fled Syria because of the war, leaving behind the life I once knew.
My parents divorced in 2019, and now I live in a refugee camp in Beirut with my mom. She works hard to provide for us, but she can barely afford to bring food home. It’s not her fault—life has been unbearably hard for her since the war.
I want to finish my studies and go to university, but my dad won’t support me, and my mom simply doesn’t have the money. Despite everything, I believe in my future. If I can study, I know I can give my mom a better life and change the future that seems to be waiting for me.
My school tuition is $470. I’m asking for help to make this dream possible. I know I can do great things, and with your support, I can build a better future for myself and my family.

UNA OPORTUNIDAD PARA CAMBIAR MI FUTURO
Me llamo Fatimah Al Hasan. Tengo 18 años y vivo en el Líbano desde 2011. Huí de Siria a causa de la guerra, dejando atrás la vida que conocía.
Mis padres se divorciaron en 2019 y ahora vivo en un campo de refugiados en Beirut con mi madre. Ella trabaja duro para mantenernos, pero apenas puede permitirse llevar comida a casa. No es su culpa: la vida ha sido insoportablemente dura para ella desde la guerra.
Quiero terminar mis estudios e ir a la universidad, pero mi padre no me apoya y mi madre simplemente no tiene dinero. A pesar de todo, creo en mi futuro. Si puedo estudiar, sé que puedo darle a mi madre una vida mejor y cambiar el futuro que parece estar esperándome.
Mi matrícula escolar es de 470 dólares. Estoy pidiendo ayuda para hacer posible mi sueño. Sé que puedo hacer grandes cosas y, con ayuda, puedo construir un futuro mejor para mí y mi familia.
