Amina, the mother of our student Khatoun, is pregnant and in desperate need of assistance. Khatoun reached out to us, explaining, "My mother wanted to go to Syria to give birth there due to the high costs here, but her papers are irregular. If she goes, she won't be able to return."
Amina is about to enter her final month of pregnancy and needs a cesarean and a tubal ligation to ensure the safety of both her and her baby.
Many women in Lebanon are forced to give birth at home because they cannot afford hospital care. This dangerous practice often results in the death of both the child and the mother. Please help Amina give birth safely.
