Celebrating 25 Years of Impact
Your annual gift today sustains local conservationists and vital partnerships to ensure that snow leopards — the “guardians of the mountains” — are continuously protected from threats to their survival.
Together, we’ve spent 25 years creating lasting change for both people and wildlife across Asia’s High Mountains. Your support further strengthens a powerful network of conservation practitioners working toward coexistence with snow leopards.
Community-Driven Conservation in Action
In Dolpo, Nepal, partner Tshiring Lhamu Lama is transforming her community into a Snow Leopard Friendly Region through the Snow Leopard Sisters Impact Campaign. Tshiring's team has already built a communal predator-proof corral, protecting livestock and livelihoods, and is training local men and women in conservation and ecotourism.
This Giving Tuesday, we will spotlight this extraordinary story of women-led conservation.

Projects like this show how your generosity empowers local conservation leaders to protect snow leopards and improve the lives of the people who share their mountain homes.
Looking Ahead
In 2026, we’ll expand our grassroots conservation support to new community-led programs in Bhutan and India, continuing to strengthen coexistence across the snow leopard’s range.
Thank You
For 25 years, your support has made SLC’s mission possible. From protecting wildlife to empowering mountain communities, we’re deeply grateful for your continued partnership as we build the next chapter of conservation together.
With heartfelt gratitude,

Ashleigh Lutz-Nelson
