Families with RUNX1-FPD face a significantly higher risk of developing blood cancer. For many, the uncertainty of what lies ahead is a constant reality.

Research is essential to changing that future. 

Because rare disease research often receives limited traditional funding, community support plays a critical role in helping scientists continue this work.

Today, researchers are pursuing multiple approaches to better understand and address RUNX1-FPD, including:

• Understanding Inflammation: How inflammation may increase leukemia risk

• Restoring RUNX1 Activity: Supporting healthy blood development

• Advancing Cell Therapy Strategies: Preparing for future gene-editing approaches

• Identifying High-Risk Cells Early: Detecting changes before leukemia develops

• Building Research Tools: Creating shared data and resources to accelerate discovery

Our goal this year is to raise $30,000 to support the next phase of RUNX1 research.
