On May 9, 2026, join Interfaith4Palestine for a pilgrimage of prayer and public witness through the streets of Oakland.
In various pilgrimage traditions, generosity is specifically invited and cultivated as a practice. Offerings are made to express gratitude, seal vows, seek repair, or pay penance for our complicity. Rooted in these traditions, we invite your generosity. Your donation via the pilgrimage will go entirely towards supporting the humanitarian needs for children and families in Gaza and Iran, as well as supporting the Oakland People’s Arms Embargo.

As the drumbeat of war grows louder and the cost in human life continues to rise, people of faith and conscience are gathering — across traditions, across communities — to proclaim a different vision:
🌿 Divest from war. Invest in life.
Together, we will walk 12 miles through Oakland, in solidarity with the Oakland People's Arms Embargo, calling for an end to military cargo shipments from the Port of Oakland to Israel. We carry our prayers, our grief, and our unshakeable hope that a different world is possible.
This pilgrimage is rooted in a shared sacred conviction: every human life holds immeasurable dignity, and peace with justice cannot be built through militarism.
This is the third year of our collective journey. It grows from the global Gaza Ceasefire Pilgrimages of 2024 and our local Right of Return Pilgrimage in 2025. Each year, our call has grown clearer and more urgent: we need an immediate arms embargo — locally and nationally.
Whether you are a longtime activist or walking in witness for the first time, whether you come from a faith community or simply from a place of deep moral conviction — you are welcome here. Come as you are. Bring your community. Bring your prayers.
