Goal

Help Harry Find His Voice

Harry Suter is a bright, determined little boy who’s working so hard to learn to speak. With your help, he can keep attending the speech therapy sessions he needs to find his voice — to be understood, to make friends, and to grow up confident in who he is.

Harry has Apraxia of Speech, a rare neurological condition that makes it difficult for him to say the words his mind wants to express. Early and consistent therapy is critical, but without greater awareness and support, the NDIS may reduce or remove funding for children like Harry who desperately need this help.

Your kindness today can make a lifelong difference — helping Harry, and others like him, have the chance to communicate, connect, and thrive.

Who is an Apraxia Star?  An Apraxia Star is an individual with childhood apraxia of speech (CAS).

How does the Community Walk Event make an impact?  The Community Walk Event raises awareness about childhood apraxia of speech.  Each time we share information about this event or CAS, we are creating a future where more individuals can find the care they need because apraxia is understood, not unknown.  Also, this event helps raise crucial funds necessary to develop, grow, and sustain the programs, resources, and research support offered by Apraxia Kids.
