We crossed Lesotho !

Here we are — we made it to the Indian Ocean! 🌊🚴‍♂️
From Maseru to Scottburgh: 646 km of mountain biking, 13,900 meters of climbing, and 36.5 hours in the saddle. If we had to sum it up in one image… just look at the smiles on our faces 😊
📍We kicked things off on May 1st, leaving Maseru with a cheerful peloton of friends for the first few hours. After they waved us off, it was just the two of us, heading deeper into Lesotho’s highlands. That first day was a beast — but it got us to the foot of the Maluti Mountains.
From there, we rode through jaw-dropping landscapes and mountain villages: Thaba Tseka, Mokhotlong, and the legendary Sani Pass. Freezing temps, endless climbs, and unforgettable team moments — all part of the magic.
Then came the #Sani2C race — an incredible three-day ride from the Drakensberg to the sea. After days of solitude in the Lesotho mountains, we suddenly found ourselves among 600 riders and the buzzing energy of this fantastic event. Farms, forests, wild animals, warm welcomes — and that epic descent into the Umkomaas Valley. Just wow. Massive thanks to Farmer Glen and the whole crew for an unforgettable route and race!
And finally… what a feeling to see the ocean appear over the sugarcane hills, handlebars pointed toward the finish line in Scottburgh. Exhausted, proud, and full of memories.
We’re also thrilled to have finished Sani2C in 35th position — not bad for two guys with full backpacks and a mission beyond racing!
🙏🙏 Thanks to your support, we’ve raised $5,364 so far to help Sepheo give the most vulnerable children in Maseru access to school, care, and a future.
The ride might be over, but the journey isn't — you can still donate and make a difference 👉
