This Ramadan, we are coming together as a community to take a bold and necessary step toward securing a permanent home for the Downtown Denver Islamic Center (DDIC). For years, DDIC has served as a sanctuary for prayer, education, food relief, and vital community services. But the reality is—our current space can no longer meet the growing needs of our community.
Why This Matters
✅ A Permanent Space for Worship & Spiritual Growth – A dedicated masjid for prayer, gatherings, and Islamic learning, ensuring future generations have a place to connect with their faith.
✅ Expanded Community Services – A larger location means we can increase food distribution, provide emergency financial assistance, and expand our Family Navigation program to help newcomers thrive.
✅ Classrooms & Youth Programs – A space for Islamic studies, New American classes, mentorship programs, and youth development activities.
✅ Community-Owned & Operated – This center will belong to us—run by the community, for the community. Owning, rather than renting, guarantees our presence in downtown Denver for decades to come.
