Cornerstone Retreat Center - Phase II Fundraising Initiative

Welcome to our Cornerstone Retreat Center Fundraising Page! Thank you for taking the time to learn more about Cornerstone Retreat Center (CRC), and for considering a donation. Your financial support is greatly appreciated.

CRC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to serving 1st responders and their families. In addition to the Retreat Center property, we provide ongoing Wellness Services (resiliency training and stress management education, peer support and critical incident training, workshops, peer support, critical incident stress debriefings, and chaplain services).

The Retreat Center, which is in development, exists to provide a safe place for the 1st responder community to connect with one another, to learn from each other, and to recover from the unique stresses inherent of the job--all in a safe, confidential, and naturally peaceful environment. This is where we need your ongoing financial support.

With Phase I completed, we are looking forward to Phase II. In Phase II, our goal is to raise $500,000, which includes: five (5) glamping tents, three (3) RV park model cabins, and continued property improvements.

With your financial support, we can complete these projects in full, bringing comfortable accommodations to the CRC property, and eventually, by adding a meeting/event barn (Phase III).

We have come a long way since securing the 40-acre property for CRC; we have purchased much needed equipment, we have eliminated old, unusable building and structures, and we have cleaned up, upgraded, and started to rebuild. In 2022, we added a fishing deck, began mulching our walking trails, and bought new swings for the kids. In 2024, not only did we open the 1st Responder Park offering day recreation (fishing, walking trails, and picnics), we hosted family picnics and 1st responder gatherings. In addition, we also completed our pond reconstruction and brought running water on the property with a new pump and bath house ready to receive visitors when the season opens in the Spring of 2025.
