I co-founded VIA Collaborative Arts Corporation nearly 20 years ago to support the creation and sharing of innovative, collaborative performances, and I am very proud to have worked with dozens of brilliant collaborators during that time.
2025 will mark an unprecedented level of creative activity for me and my collaborators, and it will require funds to match.
Ten of us will tour my large-scale project, [ ], to San Francisco for preview performances at ODC Theater, March 21-25, 2025. We will also share the work with local, national and international presenters during our open rehearsals at Mercury Store in New York City, January 11-12, 2025, during the annual conference of the Association of Performing Arts Presenters (APAP) – allowing us to further many ongoing conversations with several notable national presenters interested in bringing the project to their communities. (We hope you will join us at Mercury Store, too!)
With all of this exciting activity ahead, we have set an ambitious goal for our annual fundraising.
Can I count on your support?
As you probably know by now, we’ve already invested four years, and countless rehearsal and planning hours, into the creation of this project. Our sharing during APAP and the upcoming tour to San Francisco will really propel this project forward and bring it closer to fruition. Of course, with these milestone artistic achievements come bigger fundraising requirements, and that is why we so greatly need your support today.
Your gift will provide the vital support we need to accomplish this new scale of work, including sharing it on both coasts!
And, the first $5,000 in donations we receive will very generously be matched by an anonymous donor.
I am excited for 2025! We will continue our series of community workshops and in-progress showings, and hope to premiere [ ] at a second nationally regarded venue (to be announced soon!). Your continued support is making it all possible, and I am deeply grateful.
Together with my board of directors and collaborators, I want to express our sincerest thanks for being on this creative journey with us. Thank you for your generous support!
Sincerely,
Adrienne Westwood
