Thanks to our generous donors, the Venado Community Center celebrated it's 10 year anniversary last January!
Over the last decade, the Venado Community Center has become a platform for community-driven initiatives and a hub for meetings, classes, and workshops. Thanks to our manager, Carmen, the center continues to host a variety of programming including: our children's after school program, monthly infant health clinics, small business workshops, environmental campaigns, and community events.
Every donation (and 100% of the donation!) supports our holistic program that not only lifts Venado out of poverty, but helps them thrive amidst the rapid development affecting their local culture and environment.Â
It only takes $15k a year to run the center, and while we receive donations from other donations and our connection with Red Maple Vineyard, this holiday campaign is what helps us cross the line and keep the center operational every year. So if you donate, YOU are responsible for keeping the center open.Â
So whether its $5 or $500, consider donating to Clara Vista. I can personally tell you it will make a big impact in Venado. If you have any questions about how money is spent, please don't hesitate to reach out.
