The biggest day of the year to give is fast approaching - #GivingTuesday! Each year community-led organizations like ours rely heavily on your support to further our mission.
By Tuesday, November 28th, it is our hope that with your support, we can raise over $10,000 to improve the maternal experiences of Black women!
Your generous contributions will allow us to bail out more Mommas on Mother's Day, host childbirth education webinars, increase awareness about the Black Maternal Health crisis, plus fund the training and mentorship of even more community-based Doulas!
The last few years with your support, we were able to raise close to $7,000 and with your support, we can change even more lives this year!
We ask that you dig deep inside your hearts and wallets, and help us make this year one to remember.
In solidarity,
Black Mothers in Power
LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR MISSION:
Black Mothers in Power seeks to eradicate racial health disparities for Black birthing people and Black babies throughout Delaware.
At BMIP we see the word “Mother” as an all-encompassing term. Mothers are not confined to gender or those who have given or can give physiological birth. Mothers of all shapes, sizes, genders, and ways of “birthing” are welcome here. Not all who give birth physically are mothers or have children. We recognize the nuance and privilege of being a Mother on this plane of existence could never be defined in the narrow view of physiological birth. So whether you are a Drag Mother, Earth Mother, or Mother of Dragons. BMIP sees you.
