Hey guys, this is my first update and post! I wanted to bring y'all up to date on some new developments.
After a lot of thought and a lot of prayer from me and close trusted people, I will not be going to Romania at this time. Romania borders Ukraine, and with the developments in the war, we do not feel a sense of peace about me going. However, this is not just because of the war; I have had an unrest for a little while, and I've been praying on it as well as seeking advice from Godly counsel.
The original plan for me to go to Romania was this past August; however, things came up with school preventing me from going. Since the August window closed, I've not felt a sense of peace about leaving in December or early 2024. This is not to say that I won't ever return to Romania, but for now, I strongly feel that the window has closed.
Your trust is important to me, and so I want to remain transparent with you about your donations. As of now, they will be saved in a missions fund, supporting mission trips I go on in the future and the families of the places I go. There is a country that has been on my heart since I was in middle school that I am currently looking into; however, I do not want to rush anything. I will keep you all updated as more information and confirmations come in. If you would rather your money be refunded to you instead of going into the missions fund, please feel free to reach out to me and let me know. I will understand completely.
I will be sure to keep y'all updated along this journey! If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or just want to know more about me or what went into this update, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I would love to hear from you. Thank you all for following along and being understanding about this situation.
