Each year, approximately 160,000 middle enlisted (E-3 to E-7) men and women leave U.S. military service and return to civilian life. Middle-enlisted service members make up approximately 80% of the veteran population and are grossly underserved with transition assistance. Without individualized support, many transitioning service members and veterans struggle to translate the unique skills and extensive training of their military experience. Challenges like this lead to a 63% veteran unemployment and underemployment rate that disproportionately affects our middle enlisted candidates.
