2020 Streetsblog California Virtual Walk/Bikeathon

If it's 2020, it's time for virtual events!

Join the Streetsblog California team for our first ever virtual walk/bikeathon. We're asking our readers and supporters to join us in walking and biking for a cause. In addition, you can win some exclusive shcwag. Half of all proceeds will go to supporting Streetsblog in California and the other half will go to the California Association of Food Banks.

Any participant who raises and/or donates over $50 will receive an exclusive Streetsblog water bottle and if you raise and/or donate $100 you can also win this exclusive t-shirt. We'll also have prizes for largest individual donor/fundraiser, largest group donation, most miles walked and  most miles biked as part of the event.

We'll have more details soon, but you have to complete your virtual walk/bike ride sometime between now and the end of May. We'll start keeping track of donations that come through our regular portals on May 1, but if you want to start padding your walkathon/bikeathon totals, you can make a donation today. If a friend, colleague, or loved one is making a donation to support your walking or biking, make sure they include your name in the notes!
