Sometimes I close my eyes and imagine a world where pet owners are never encouraged to euthanize or surrender a pet because they can’t immediately afford hundreds of dollars for treatment. But when I open my eyes I know that the need for this organization is not going away any time soon. Animals will always have expensive emergencies and need your help.
If 2020 has taught us anything, it’s that any of us can find ourselves rushing toward disaster. During this time of isolation and stress, our companion animals mean even more to us. Donors like you sent needed life-preservers out to struggling families and animals.
Fate laughed at all of us this year. We were heartbroken to receive more applications for support than ever. With so many additional applications, over 800 cases had to be denied. Let’s not let that number be so large in 2021. We continue to be humbled by the generous support of our consistent donors. But all of our big plans were swept aside, and maintaining the status quo became the first priority. We didn’t have to close our virtual doors this year, and that is something to celebrate. While we held steadfast and helped as many animals as possible, we also had to say “No” far more than anyone would like to.
Please help us end 2020, with the least amount of water in our boat. Your generous donation of $50 or more will help us pay off all of this year’s veterinary care. If we reach Alex’s goal of $30,000, we can start 2021 off on the right foot.
Your donation today will make it possible to save lives tomorrow.
Let’s make 2021 the biggest life-saving year yet.
Sincerely,
