Meet Clayton, a 2 year old yellow Labrador left in a shelter with severe and painful entropion. He was also suffering from kennel cough or possible pneumonia!  Rescued from a high-kill shelter hours away, he was standing in a cage with 3 other dogs, leaning forward, hoping someone would pet him!  His eyes were so matted shut that he could not open them to see!

Once he was safe we took him right to our Vet. Clayton's eyes were one of the worst cases she had seen, and she knew he was in extreme pain. Unfortunately, this poor boy was too sick to have his eyes fixed, first we had to get him healthy! Depressed and failing he needed a reason to fight!  

At the home of an experienced foster, he received round- the- clock care and is learning about love.  He is starting to make steps forward.  We will not fail Clayton!  As soon as the Vet says he is healthy enough we will work to save his eyes.  But we can't do it without the help of others. 

We have endured struggles this year unlike any other, but when challenges grow, so do the hearts of those who can make a difference. Right here at home, you can make a difference to give a leash on life to hundreds of dogs nearing their final hours.

It’s not easy helping our furry friends but we can’t imagine leaving them behind. Our pups who are hurting on the streets and in shelters have no relief in sight.  The need has grown dramatically these past 2 years with overcrowded shelters. Many people are dumping their dogs on the streets leaving them to survive on their own, often getting hit by cars. WE have been unwavering in our support helping our local community relieve some of the stress of overcrowded shelters. Please help us continue to be their hope.
