My name is Zaher. I am 40 years old, a father of 10 children, and now also a grandfather to a 5-month-old baby girl. We are from northern Gaza, but like so many others, we have been displaced and are now living in Deir al-Balah in the central region.

Our life has been turned upside down.

We live in a torn, fragile tent that cannot protect us from the heat or the cold. Every day is a struggle to find basic necessities—food, clean water, and medical care. I suffer from high blood pressure and heart disease, yet I carry the responsibility of caring for my entire family.

My children—Mahmoud (18), Ali (20), Ahmed (16), Rimas (15), Muhammad (13), Ibrahim (12), Ata (11), Fatima (8), Abdul Rahman (6), and little Khader (3)—deserve safety, stability, and a future. Instead, they face fear, hunger, and uncertainty.
My greatest burden is my father. He is 85 years old, disabled, and unable to walk or care for himself. I am the one who carries him, cleans him, and tries to preserve his dignity in impossible conditions.

I am doing everything I can, but it is not enough.

I am asking for your help—not just for me, but for my children, my granddaughter, and my elderly father. Your support can help us secure food, clean water, medical care, and safer shelter. It can give my children a chance to feel like children again.

Food: Daily meals, bread, rice, canned goods, and basic nutrition to keep my children from going hungry

Shelter: A stronger, more durable tent or materials to protect us from extreme heat and cold.
Medical Care: Treatment and medicine for my father , for me and basic healthcare for my children
