Knot Okay Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization promoting self-care and creative expression for Black women + nonbinary people through fiber arts, specifically crochet! Our virtual and in-person events are safe, inclusive "third spaces" to create art + community, one stitch at a time 🧶
In 3 short years, our community has grown to almost 4,000 members internationally and 40,000 online! By popular demand, we expanded our team and established chapters in NYC, DMV, St. Paul, Chicago, Miami, Duluth, Bay Area, and more! All KOC operations are run by a team of talented Knotty Grrl volunteers dedicated to promoting crochet as a creative coping skill and the hook as community building tool!
Your contribution today is 100% tax deductible and directly funds our free programming, including:
- Monthly virtual & in-person crochet circles
- Biweekly Movie Night
- Crochet and Journal Night
- Beginner crochet resources and workshops
- 24/7 virtual crochet circle
- Group chats for peer support

and more!
Any amount ensures our programs remain free to members and continue operating while we apply for grants and funding opportunities. Wish us luck! 🙏🏾
