“We are just incredibly sad and devastated Our Niceville Emerald Coast Children's Advocacy Center suffered significant damage. Although there was much water damage from the fire sprinkler system, it prevented a what could have been a devastating fire. As heartbroken as I feel and fighting back the tears, I am thanking God for His saving grace - it could have been so much more worse. We may be down but will rise above the water. We know the days ahead will be long. We will need your help to restore the joy, the cheeriness, the hope the Center once held. As those needs unfold, we will share.” - with kindest regards, Julie Porterfield, CEO
Phase One: Heads Above Water
Goal: $100,000
As we continue to tread through unknown waters, we are facing mounting expenses. Unsure of what insurance will cover, we are committing to provide the same quality that has saved lives the past 23 years. Would you join us as we navigate the costs of water remediation, relocation of staff and replacing all the items that make our Center so special. We need you as a child's life preserver.
Phase Two: Silver Lining
There is always a silver lining amid stormy waters! Unsure of what the insurance claim will hold, we are preparing in advance to be able to fund 100% of the restoration. Though this storm is heavy, we believe our giving community will make this year the most powerful season yet. Our silver lining is that our community’s generosity refuses to let any circumstance keep us from moving forward. Your generosity is our children’s silver lining.
Phase Three: Over the Horizon
Goal: $1.5 million
When the stormy waters recede and the sky clears…. We can focus on what’s ahead. On our horizon is the already planned expansion project to add critical workspace to serve the ever-growing number of child abuse and child neglect victims in our community. We vow to EXPAND to ensure EVERY child who suffers from neglect and abuse gets the healing and protection they deserve.
Join us as we press on towards the horizon.
NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND!
