Goal
Thank you for considering supporting Zero Art Fair. After our successful fundraiser through Francis Kite Club on April 14, our goal is to raise an additional $20,000 to cover the projected costs of creating and operating Zero Art Fair in July 2024. Much of this budget will go towards paying those who will work alongside us before and during the four-day fair. We can't do this alone, and we are committed to paying those working with us. If the other budget items are met first, we intend to pay ourselves for our time. In the spirit of transparency of the project, our budget and expenses will be shared on our website.
We will scale the fair to the funds we are able to raise through individual contributions and sponsorship. If we don't have the funds to create the fair IRL this summer it may exist only in online form, in which case early funders in amounts over $500 will still receive early access to available works. In the unlikely event we are unable to put on any version of the fair this summer we will be offering a choice to contributors: we can issue refunds to the extent possible; retain the funds to work towards realizing the fair next year; or in the case of funders over $500, match them with available artworks by artists who intended to participate in the fair.
Please note we don't yet have status to make contributions tax-deductible. We're working on that while we also work to bring the fair into being.

I hope to make it to this genius experiment (I’m having knee surgery the month before so time will tell). I’ve always wanted to collect art and support living artists, but never had the means to take the first step. I think this is an incredible idea and hope to be a part of it with you. - Shells
