YOUR HEART FOR THE CONGO

We, the workers of Coopera Congo, our families, friends, and neighbors, are under bullets and bombs. But we are not alone. We are opening our homes and sharing the little we have with displaced families arriving every day. We want to reach as many families as possible, but we need your support to make it happen.

Why is this happening? The rebel group M23, supported by Rwanda, is occupying eastern Congo to control the minerals that power the world:

📱 Coltan, niobium, cobalt, tungsten, tin, gold.

🚀 These minerals are in your phone, your computer, your appliances, your smartwatch, the aerospace, and nuclear industries.

💰 Europe has turned a blind eye and signed agreements with Rwanda, buying these minerals despite its insufficient deposits.

While trade continues, we here suffer war, looting, and death.

Here in our community, we know what needs to be done, and people trust us. We have the capacity to act, but we need your help to turn that solidarity into real support.
