We are currently working towards developing a greater culture of love in the community by opening a "You Are Loved" Coffee Shop. The coffee shop will serve coffee and donuts to the public, will serve as a storefront for our clothing, and will also provide space for us to have events that help build and serve the community. It will give the people that come an opportunity/invitation to get involved in spreading the message through clothing, cards, and outreach. This will be a great place for people to encounter love in a way that reminds them of their identity, affirms their dignity, leads them to encounter mercy, and inspires them to live with purpose by loving others.
The building we currently have our eyes on is the old diner on St. Clair in downtown Dayton. As the diner is in terrible shape (holes in the roof and walls, mold, etc) and is being sold as a shell for $600,000, we estimate that we will need to raise around $2 million to purchase and restore the building to a safe and functioning state, or tear it down and rebuild a new one in the same spot, depending on which option after further inspection seems to be more prudent. We need $600k immediately to purchase the land/building, and will continue to fundraise the rest afterwards to pursue the completion of our goals.
Funds will also be going into other means of spreading the "You Are Loved" message which may include billboards, murals, prayer cards, and supplies for mission/ministry outreach days.
Any contributions are greatly appreciated! They will be put directly towards the growth of this mission and the spread of this powerful message of love to our brothers and sisters in the world. We invite you partner with us to join us on mission by supporting us financially. You can donate monthly, yearly, or make a one time donation.
We are incredibly humbled and grateful for all the help and support thus far, and we are excited for all that's to come!
Don't forget, God loves you! I hope you not only have the opportunity to partner with us financially and join us on mission, but also to encounter Gods love yourself through the good news that you are loved.
