Realizing that prosperity in Raleigh County is encouraged by collaborative efforts supporting all of southern West Virginia, the BAF board of directors and staff offer our administrative support to people in surrounding counties who wish to build community endowments without the responsibilities of creating another foundation. A group of Wyoming County citizens took on the challenge of creating a geographic fund that addresses opportunities and challenges presented in their county. The seed money for this fund came from a Blueprint Community Grant.

Beckley Area Foundation is a 501-c-3 non-profit community charity as recognized by the Internal Revenue Service, and all donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. In accordance with federal IRS regulations we acknowledge that BAF has provided no goods or services in consideration of this gift.
