Animal Rescue Center
For as long as there are homeless cats and dogs in Midland, we will be working to rescue them and find them homes. We're here to create a new path for pets.
Through the support of the Midland community, we are pleased to be able to expand our rescue operations with the opening of our new facility - The Joe and Van Mabee Animal Rescue Center (The Mabee ARC).
The Mabee ARC will be operated by Midland Humane Coalition as an auxiliary facility to its PetSmart Enhanced Adoption Center (EAC). It will provide the much-needed space to prepare rescues for adoption.
Moving to this bigger space will allow us to make a bigger impact and save more lives.
ABOUT THE MABEE ARC
The 5,700 square foot facility standing on 2 acres will be able to house up to 60 dogs and 20 cats temporarily as they undergo the vetting process
- is a temporary safe haven for animals prior to being placed for adoption at the EAC.
- is a space to quarantine, foster, rehabilitate and allow rescues to recover from stress/surgery/illness
- is the first stop for eligible pets as they are prepped for transport
Make a donation for The Mabee Animal Rescue Center and help us save more cats & dogs!
The Mabee ARC was made possible through the support of countless donors. Because of your collective support, we are able to provide this service to animals in need. We will need continued support as we rescue animals and bring them to safety.
Thank you for your generosity. We can't accomplish any of this without help.
Together, we can change the path of Midland’s cats and dogs.
