WORDPLAY Adult Spelling Bee

We first discovered Alabama Waldorf School back in 2018, and from the start, I knew it was something special. The mission deeply resonated with me. Not just teaching academics, but helping children grow into confident, compassionate people who care for others and for our Earth. It felt like I had found a school that truly matched what I wanted for my daughter: not just a place to learn facts, but a place to grow roots.

One of my favorite memories is visiting the campus and watching the children play together outside. It hit me that this was more than just a school; it is a community where kids could be free, creative, and truly themselves. Over the years, I’ve seen my daughter blossom in this environment. Her teachers have become like family to us. They’ve given her love, support, and a foundation that the world is safe, good, and full of kindness.

Now, I’m jumping into the Adult Spelling Bee! Not because I’m a great speller (spoiler alert: I’m really not), but because I want my daughter to see that even if you’re not the best at something, you can still laugh, have fun, and give it a try. That said, I’m definitely going to need backup! So I’d love for you to come cheer me on, donate, and maybe even be my lifeline when I get stuck on a tricky word!

Every contribution, big or small, makes a real difference. This isn’t one of those fundraisers where you end up with cookie dough or wrapping paper you don’t need. Every dollar goes directly to supporting the kids and teachers at our school. Even something simple, like a jump rope that kids use every day, has to be purchased, and those little things add up!
