WonderLab Workshop and Go Baby GO!
Volunteer for WonderLab Workshop
WonderLab is seeking volunteers for an adaptive workshop in Redlands, CA on Sunday, October 20th, 2024. All experience levels welcomed! Come learn about early mobility, modification of ride on cars and switch toys for disabled children in the community. For more information or to volunteer, email Jackie@thewonderlab.org.
WonderLab is a pediatric therapy clinic that specializes in Physical, Occupational and Speech therapy that serves the Riverside and San Bernardino counties. We are excited to host a WonderLab Workshop to adapt ride on cars and toys to better equip kids with special needs. Our clinic will be working closely with a current program, called GoBabyGo! that originally started at the University of Delaware. When the program was first started, an interdisciplinary team was created that included physical therapists and the UD school of engineering. It has since expanded and open sourced all the ideas so that humans from junior high to retirees are helping build a more accessible future together. WonderLab is Redlands California’s chapter of GoBabyGo! and our workshop now includes adapting toys with big easy buttons too. BUT we need your help! Come join us for an exciting day of curiosity and purpose. All skill levels welcome.
