The Wantagh-Levittown Volunteer Ambulance Corps extends our heartfelt gratitude to everyone in our community for their incredible generosity during our 2024 Fund Drive. Thanks to your generous donations, our ambulance corps has received a new state-of-the-art ambulance. This upgraded vehicle is equipped with advanced safety features, including 4-wheel drive and shoulder harnesses for all passengers. Additionally, the ambulance is equipped with power stretchers to ensure patients are comfortable and safe during transportation. These power stretchers reduce the physical strain on our emergency responders and provide a smoother and more secure experience for patients. Your support has truly made a difference in enhancing our community’s emergency response capabilities. 

Your donations also enable us to host several beloved annual events for our community, such as Photos with the Easter Bunny, Spooky Ambulance, and our Santa Run! These events provide safe, family-friendly activities that everyone can look forward to each year. They offer wonderful opportunities for families to create cherished memories and for community members to bond with our dedicated volunteers. Your support helps us bring these joyful experiences to life, strengthening the connections within our community and fostering a spirit of togetherness.

We take great pride that we are 100% staffed by volunteers with duty crews providing Advanced Life Support services. With your contributions, WLVAC remains one of the few agencies on Long Island operating solely with volunteers, and no paid staff.
