Wishes For Water Spring 2024

Wishes for Water is a nonprofit organization at OSU dedicated to providing water in rural Zimbabwe. It is a completely student founded and student ran corporation that started last year.  It’s something I’m becoming really passionate about, realizing how much we take clean water for granted in the US. Drilling wells there not only helps their overall health, but it allows women and children to receive an education (they’re no longer having to walk miles every day to a water source). The water also allows them to have more successful crops, thus growing their food supply. Water truly does affect all areas of our lives, and we have an opportunity to change and deepen the lives of others through this organization.
