Wishes For Water Fall 2024

Hi! My name is Macy Mueller I am a global partnership representative with the Wishes For Water Foundation. Wishes for Water is an official 501(c)3 non-profit founded in January of 2023. It was organized by a team of students that were in the President's Leadership Council at Oklahoma State University. 

We partner with Terrai Trent International to drill boreholes (wells) at schools in rural Zimbabwe! These wells not only provide the community with clean drinking water to prevent water borne illnesses, but also centralizes their community around education. Additionally, it helps establish gender equality. Oftentimes, women are the ones who must retrieve water while men receive an education. By placing a borehole in their community, women no longer have to retrieve water and both women and men both receive an education. As a whole, we are hoping to raise $15,000.
