Wishes For Water Fall 2024

My name is Kellon Collington and I am a Global Partnership Representative for the Wishes For Water Foundation. We are a non-profit founded January 2023 that was organized by a team of students that were in the President's Leadership Council at Oklahoma State University, which I am now a part of as well. I had been following this organization throughout high school and I am so excited to be a part of it now that I am a student here at OSU. Hearing the mission and stories of what this program does to change lives makes me so driven to get our name out there. 

We are a registered 501c3 and our mission is to help provide sustainable and clean sources of water in the Hurungwe School district of rural Zimbabwe. We strive to provide accessible water sources which in return will help provide an equal access to education for women, nutritional benefits, and economic stability. We partner with the Tererai Trent, a world known humanitarian who graduated from Oklahoma State, and her International Foundation to further our pursuit of sustainability.
