Goal

Our Wildlife Team continues to have growing momentum in protecting Wisconsin’s wildlife. We advocate for policy that protects our wildlife, including keystone species like wolves and beavers. We also highlight the ecological value provided by these species through educational outreach, including social media, film screenings, letters to the editor, and our annual educational campaigns around International Beaver Day in April, Endangered Species Week in May, and Wolf Awareness Week in October. Join us to help protect these amazing animals.

In the past year, we have worked to stop legislation that would create a Sandhill Crane hunt, launched a Get the Lead Out! Campaign to encourage hunters and anglers to use leadfree ammo and tackle, and are deeply engaged in updating the state’s Beaver Management Plan to ensure it’s based on current science and flooding mitigation.  We continue to work to ensure that Wisconsin’s wolf population is co-managed by Wisconsin’s Tribes and based on science and public input.

Please consider donating $5, $25, $50 or more to help us reach our goal of $3,000.
