Our fight against fossil fuels is more urgent than ever, especially given our current national administration's stance. While eliminating our dependence on fossil fuels and reversing climate change will be an enormous challenge, our dedicated team is working hard to move beyond fossil fuels by:

• Working hard at the local, state and federal levels to retire the remaining coal plants in Wisconsin and to fight new fossil gas plants like the Nemadji Trail Energy Center in Superior

• Push back on numerous new gas proposals that would power hyperscale data centers and advocate to ensure data centers pay their way, not saddle communities with increased costs

• Advocating for just electric bills by engaging in utility rate cases and supporting percentage of income payment programs, energy efficiency and low income programs

• Partnering across the state to decrease energy burden overall, and especially where there are extreme racial disparities in energy burden

• Hold utilities accountable and make them pay for their messes by working with legislators to strengthen our protections
