Spring Campaign 2020

KPFK is on the frontlines doing all we can to bring to YOU, and all our community, accurate and real-time coverage of the relief efforts surrounding the health and social turmoil as well as the economic disruption caused by COVID-19.
One of KPFK's main missions is to provide our listeners with essential information in times of turmoil and uncertainty. To be radioactive on the air by acting as a counter to the political propaganda machines and large corporate news sources that filter out important information and facts that true democracy depends on to make informed decisions.
But there is no KPFK without its members. Your membership dollars are the lifeblood of KPFK and if there’s ever been a more important time to show your support it is now.
We need to strengthen our communication with you because the present public health crisis is so pervasive that it is likely to touch each one of us, or someone close to us.
For KPFK to continue to play its vital role and survive on the other side of the pandemic, we need your donation now.
Without your gift, we won't be able to continue our local reporting, bringing you vital health information, or adding to our growing list of trusted public resources.
A commUNITY spirit prevails and, indeed, grows stronger in the face of a crisis. Please help us do the essential work called for during these times while equally advocating for those greatly affected by the pandemic.
Renew your membership now or make a first-time donation!
Thank you for your generous support.

I am giving to support the station. And I want to dedicate this donation to the Michael Slate program that offers such hope and diversity each week. Thank you, KPFK.

I have seen my salary cut back 25% and not sure how long I'll be employed but I realize how vital it is we support this amazing station. I support Background Briefing, Rising Up, Solartopia, the Evening News, the Brad Blog and dozens of other shows. I wish I could give more.

I believe local, community-based non-commercial radio is still relevant! We need it to survive in these changing times. In fact we need KPFK more than ever now! I did not lose a job or home during this COVID-19 crisis. My life is stable. And, I know that the organizations that depend on our donations are the entities that could be most harmed by the financial collapse(s) we are and will continue, in the near future, to suffer. I am therefore donating the entirety of my ‘stimulus check’ income to those organizations; food banks, non-profit media, Doctors Without Borders, etc. I encourage others in a similar situation to do the same. My donation now is at least double what I normally offer to ‘fund drives’. I encourage everyone to dig deeper if you can to support what supports our visions for a more just future!
