Clothing Drive for Farmworkers

As the colder months approach, farm workers, who are vital to the harvest of our food, face unique and often overlooked challenges. 

Many of these hardworking individuals struggle to make ends meet, balancing work in the fields with meager wages that are often insufficient to cover basic needs for themselves and their families. 

With inflation rising and the cost of living continuing to climb, these families are at greater risk of going hungry and facing harsh winter conditions without adequate clothing to keep warm. They are the lowest paid labor force, facing the greatest amount of food insecurity.

We need your help to make a difference.

We are organizing our annual Clothing and Food Drive For Farmworkers to support California farm workers and their families during this difficult time. Our goal is to provide essential winter clothing—jackets, hats, gloves, scarves, and boots—as well as fresh food to help keep them from hunger and their spirits lifted. 

How You Can Help:

• Donate Warm Clothing: Gently used or new coats, shirts, pants, sweaters, and outerwear for men, women, and children. Blankets and thermal wear are also needed.
• Monetary Donations: Financial contributions will help us purchase food and any additional clothing, as well as cover transportation and operational costs to deliver the donations directly to farm worker families in need.

For every $22, we are able to provide a sweater for a farmworker and a box of fresh groceries for their family.

Our goal is to serve 4,000 farmworkers and their families.

Every gift, no matter the size, shows farm workers that they are not forgotten.

Farm workers deserve to be treated with dignity and compassion. They are the ones who make sure we have food on our tables, yet so many of them go without the basic comforts they need to survive. 

This is a chance for us to give back and offer a bit of warmth, both physical and emotional, to those who work tirelessly to care for us all.
