In our busiest weeks this winter, Hackney Foodbank is expecting to support more than 1,000 people.

Hackney has the second highest levels of child deprivation and deprivation among older people in England.

In addition to providing emergency food parcels to our visitors, our caseworkers offer support with housing, benefits, grants and they refer on to an expert debt advisor, helping our visitors address the root causes of poverty. More than half of the people they support don't need to return for emergency food.

We're working tirelessly but we need your help.  Many of the financial donations we receive are eligible for Gift Aid, which means your money works harder. Giving money enables us to buy what we need, when we need it and at wholesale prices.  And it helps fund our incredible casework support.
