24 people a minute are victims of rape, assault, or stalking by an intimate partner in the US. DP/IPV results in 1300 deaths per year, so more than 3 people are killed by intimate partners per day.


Economic problems are at the root of why many women can't leave or go back. Here at Wind Haven, we want to provide more than a "band-aid" solution to domestic violence. With our awareness, education, and training we want to help prevent DV/IPV, but we also want to help women get out and be financially independent, as well as emotionally healed, so that they can be free and stay free.
