WilsonHaus Rescue exists to save lives today while helping create a future where fewer animals need saving tomorrow.

We believe the future of animal welfare depends on more than compassionate rescue. It depends on our willingness to prevent suffering before it begins.

That is why we created Operation: Choose Change.

Operation: Choose Change is our commitment to helping shift the culture of animal welfare by making prevention as visible, as supported, and as valued as rescue itself.

For decades, rescuers, shelter workers, veterinarians, and advocates have worked tirelessly to save animals already in crisis. We stand on the shoulders of those who came before us.

Our goal is to help build on that foundation by bringing prevention to the forefront of the conversation.

Rescue

Providing exceptional care, rehabilitation, medical treatment, foster placement, and adoption opportunities for animals already in need. Every life matters, and every animal deserves the opportunity to thrive.

Prevention

Championing affordable, accessible spay and neuter as one of the most powerful tools available to reduce overpopulation and prevent future suffering. Through Operation: Choose Change, we are working to make prevention a defining pillar of modern animal welfare—not an afterthought.

Collaboration

Partnering with shelters, rescues, veterinarians, municipalities, and community organizations because meaningful change happens when we work together.

Education & Awareness

Changing culture by educating communities about responsible pet ownership, prevention, and sustainable solutions that reduce the need for rescue over time.
