Wilkes Family Fund

This fund was established by Joan and Betty Wilkes in memory of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Wilkes, Sr. The Wilkes raised seven children. Four sons followed their father into the insurance business and now, John Wilkes, grandson, is president of the Wilkes Insurance Agency, Inc. The income from this fund goes to the Salvation Army and the Raleigh County Humane Society.
