Wheelchair Rugby Canada - One-Time Donation
Wheelchair Rugby Canada is raising funds to expand access to the sport and better support athletes at every level, from those trying wheelchair rugby for the first time to those representing Canada on the world stage.
Wheelchair rugby is more than a sport. It creates community, builds confidence, and provides a space where athletes with disabilities can compete, connect, and thrive. However, significant barriers still exist. The cost of specialized equipment, with a single rugby chair ranging from $10,000 to $15,000, along with travel, training, and competition expenses, limits access for many athletes.
Your support will help us:
- Introduce more athletes across Canada to wheelchair rugby
- Strengthen development pathways, including programs like the Northern Lights Women's Development Program
- Expand opportunities for women in the sport
- Support national team training and international competition
As demand for the sport continues to grow, so does the need for sustainable funding. Every contribution helps remove barriers and ensures athletes have the opportunity to reach their full potential, whether that is building confidence in their community or competing on the international stage.
Together, we can grow the game, strengthen the community, and support the next generation of wheelchair rugby athletes in Canada.
